IGN has the full trailer for Black Christmas up. They’ve ruined it. They’ve ripped off the parts that made it good and turned it into a bunch of suck with a stupid backstory–you’re my new family?! Ruined. Ruined! What a bunch of ruiners. It is so uncool for Dimension films to take my favourite horror movie of all time and just… do this to it. RUINED.

I have never seen the original (do you think less of me?). Now I know to avoid this remake and see the one you’re recommending… Worth renting, hmm?
Totally! Worth owning even! I have 2 copies of the original because they keep releasing special editions on me with things that I haven’t seen. The next edition is coming out Dec 5th, damn them.
If you see it, I hope you enjoy it! I rec’d it to a friend who didn’t because it was too old and I’m not even going to start on my response to that. Heh.
i have to admit never having heard of it, let alone seeing it but i looked it up (because you have good taste ^_^) and while the new one sounds crap and everyone who’s seen it says it was crap, the old one looks awesome. the quotes made me giggle even. i must keep an eye out!
! you definitely should. a new edition is coming out on Dec. 5 and the only good thing I’ll say about the crappy remake is that it will give the original more exposure, and hopefully, more availability. (but I’d do without that if it meant this remake never got remade cry).
