There isn't an explanation re: the living dolls series at the moment, but I can tell you it is basically the end result of a lack of models around and a want for maximum control (my dream is not having to contend with the weather). :) I don't write stories based on photographs and to my knowledge, no one has written stories inspired by the dolls but who knows what could happen in the future!
