I’m getting ahead of the new year’s resolution I made to turn my photography into a discipline (as I’ve done with my writing), and as such there are some new photographs up at my flickr. In 2007, my hodge-podge, mutilated collection of plastic dolls is not going to know what hit them. I’m so excited I can hardly stand it!

I’m excited for you, too, as well as for your audience. Really, truly. Your photos evoke such strangely grounded fantasies. I wish I could study them all blown up on a wall. I wonder, then, would you please consider selling prints? Or would that be too weird…?
Thank you so much! Not weird at all–that’s really nice, thanks. It’s funny you mention it because someone else has too and I’m hoping to throw a print run together in the spring–I’m always hesitant because I get them printed online and I never know what people are expecting (I’m woefully unknowledgable about paper quality, limited print runs–I usually just print and that’s that). So when/if I do a print run I’ll definitely be posting it here. At the moment I’m working on a photobook of the living dolls series so… 2007 will hopefully produce more ways people (if they’re interested) can have pieces of my work for themselves.
Wow! Mammoth comment! Sorry, heh!
Sounds like a plan, which I’m very much looking forward to. Can’t wait for more!
Thank you!! I appreciate the vote of confidence. :)
This is so exciting! I’m a fan of your “Living Dolls” series. The images are always surprising, disturbing, and visually daring (all things I love). I’m looking forward to more…
Thank you!! I really try for all of those things (even though they’re the same things I worry about–which probably makes me sound weird, but oh well) so that means a lot to read! :)
