words fail

i'll miss you

I am starting to think I’ve never taken a photograph that wasn’t partly inspired by total writer frustration.

Well, wait. That’s not always the case.

But for these particular photos, believe me: IT IS.

But I will work through it. And possibly have many photos to show for it. And when I look back at it, I’ll laugh. So I guess it all works out in the end.

goodbye girl

I think it is only natural that when one creative outlet is causing its share of frustrations, you would turn to another.

And however many photos you end up with, that will be the number that needed to be taken.

These photos are so compelling. I love the sorts of narratives the traveling hatbox (?) evokes. A new beginning, innocence, guilt, independence, dependence, destiny… As always, more please! :-)

Damon: I think it’s a crappy trade off though because what I reall want to do is write!! SIGH. :)

w: Thank you! It is a hatbox. I had fun taking them, despite the fact my camera was misbehaving in very ominous ways… :/
