unsatisfied designer

Welcome to the new courtneysummers.ca! But it’s only new on a aesthetic level because what more do you need, I ask you. Content? Pfft.

Anyway, I think this incarnation of my site is the closest to what I want and have wanted it to actually look like, though I’ve yet to decide whether or not this is a good thing. I also have yet to check this layout against the million different web browsers that are out there, but y’know. It’s 3 in the morning, so. Tomorrow I’ll do that and fix the million different discrepancies that will probably show up between them OR I’ll get so frustrated by them the new courtneysummers.ca will quickly revert back to the old courtneysummers.ca. It could go either way because that’s just how I roll.

Until that point, let’s assume we’re all looking at something that looks consistently okay and way better than what came before it! I swear, if I had to spend one more day looking at that old layout, I would have asdfasdlkjfkljasdflkjged.

I’ve decided when I’m rich and famous, the first thing I’m so going to do–right after putting diamonds in my teeth, of course–is hire me a webdesigner.

Meanwhile another manual wordpress update has come and gone with little fanfare and practically zero heart palpitations. I feel like a pro!

Unfortunately, spending most of the night editing css and only half-knowing what I was doing has totally fried my brain, so I’ll do an actual update of substance–and I actually have substance to post!–very soon. In the meantime, I leave you with this: guess who gave themselves a somewhat startling haircut the week they intend to have their passport photos taken?

Yeah, that’s right.

I like the new layout. Though you have always been one for layout changes haven’t you? I’m just too lazy. I usually get one and just learn to live with it. Sort of like some of my past relationships :)

Thanks, Brian! I am definitely guilty of changing layouts a lot heh.
