I think Britney Spears’s new song is awesome. So there. Maybe Dragonette’s overtly sexual-yet-fun body of work has broken that judgemental barrier that prevented me from being a Brit-Brit fan when she was at her peak, but Gimme More seems like a solid musical follow-up for the woman who unleashed Slave 4 U on the world. It’s just really too bad the song is being overshadowed by her personal dramas, speculation on her mental health and her pretty passionless performance at the VMAs. And speaking of the latter, I’d totally love to be as fat as everyone’s saying she looked.

Because she’s NOT FAT.

In other news, I need a dry-erase board so I can bounce writing ideas… off of it? And also so I can draw pictures of stick people with their heads on fire every now and then. Or maybe I will use it to draw pictures of stick people with their heads on fire and bounce writing ideas off of it every now and then. Or maybe I will use it so I can perfect my escape plan for when the zombies finally come. Or maybe I will just write every bad word I know on it and see how satisfied I feel afterwards. Or maybe I will leave the cap off the marker and see if a ghost writes me a message while I am asleep or out of the room, which is something I’ve always wanted to do but haven’t because I’m afraid it would turn out like the Evil Dead. Hm.

I am suddenly overcome with the endless possiblities of a dry-erase board! I must have one.
