Well, Monday has set the tone for a pretty sad week. Our littlest budgie passed away yesterday night. It was a bit of a shock and needless to say, I want a do-over or a time machine. Pets are family here and it’s going to be weird not having him around. It already is. He had a big personality for a small bird. I don’t think he ever knew how small he was. He was just an awesome little budgie and that makes it tough and we’re going to miss him lots. We already do.
:(

Courtney,
I’m sorry to hear about your little bird. Pets really are family; they become little people in our lives.
I felt a terrible loss when my dog, Shana, and my cat, Samson, died. They kept me company, slept in my room, and always greeted me enthusiastically when I came home from work. They were so good and I loved them. They appear in my dreams from time to time and I’m always so glad to see them.
I’m sorry to hear about your budgie. :( My pets are my family, too, so I completely understand.

Danette: Thank you, that’s much appreciated. Pets are definitely family. I’m sorry about Shana and Samson–it seems no matter how long a pet is gone it’s never quite the same without them.
Chrissy: Thank you very much, I appreciate it.
