So I maimed my finger on the edge of a tin can tonight. The amount of blood spurting from my index finger was incredible! And then my mom told me about a tin can incident with a family member that resulted in them losing SO MUCH BLOOD they lost consciousness and had to go to the hospital! So I guess I’m pretty lucky when you consider what could’ve happened to me. I would even go so far as to call myself a survivor. There was a point after it happened where I just sort of thought about it and wept and I had to sit down for a little bit but I’m mostly okay now.
