bb, never give up

Discovery aired Super Comet yesterday and while it was no Super Volcano, it was basically great. It was about the complete and total devastation that would befall us should a really big comet ever hit the earth. It ultimately ended on an optimistic note that was more or less along the lines of, “You will likely die but the earth will recover.”

I love you so much, Discovery Channel.

In other news (why do I say that so much?), David Hasselhoff’s Current of Love has totally been stuck in my head for the last two days and consequently it is ENVIABLY AMAZING inside my head right now.

But seriously you guys, I wish the chapter I’m working on right now would write itself.

I have no problem with writing chapters, yanno, the first time. But the next 12,000 times I rewrite, well…*rips hair.

I’m so excited to hear about your upcoming book! Woo! And because you’ve now so foolishly given me the key to unlocking the evil power to make people drool I am compelleled to say, “I can’t wait to see your book cover, Courtney!”

lol! (but really–it’ll be great to see it!)

There is really no escape from Chapter Hair-Ripping Outitis is there?! Poor us.

    AAAAAAH. YOU SAID IT.

Oh my gosh. I watch all those Discovery shows. They crack me up. Yesterday, it was all the many extremely remote ways we might suddenly be toasted (we being Earthlings). Like a Gamma ray blast. Which would be un-good. Etc. I especially like the voice-overs that sound like old 80s movie trailers. JUST when you think it’s a nice day outside … BOOM! A rip in the space/time continuum!! What if a worm-hole opened up . . . in your laundry room?!

    Ahhhh. I love those shows.

Susan, it’s the BEST channel ever. It would be my dream to host some kind of doomsday show on The Discovery Channel. Or a ghost hunting show. They have doomsday pretty well covered. They need to branch more into the paranormal.

And What if a worm-hole opened up . . . in your laundry room?!
