High Tension was on Showcase last week and it wasn’t good but it wasn’t bad and yet it was SO PRETTY LOOKING that I probably have to own it.
I want to talk about writing but I don’t know what to say.
A couple of weeks ago, Zippy cuddled up in a towel lining a stainless steel bowl while I worked on Your Mom. This is what that looks like:

Reminds me of my ex’s cat which use to tunnel into the laundry before we we took it to the laundry room and would scare the crap out of us when we dug into the cloths to put them in the machines.
He’s so cute. Is he a chinchilla?

High Tension? Are you talking about the horror movie with the K-12 buzzsaw and the French people? You know, I liked it quite a bit, but I think the ending was kind of a cop-out. If you think back on it, it doesn’t really make a whole lotta sense.
But yeah. It sure was nice to look at.
I just grossed myself out.

Tori: There’s nothing ignorant about asking! :) Zippy is a degu and they are AMAZING pets. Super cute and generally very friendly once they’ve gotten to know you.

C.K. You should totally get a degu! They are made of awesome! And–hee. Yes! That must’ve been what he was dreaming of. By the way, Harper’s Easter Card? Had me rolling on the floor laughing. Thank you for that.
TKT: YES! That movie. It was called Switchblade Romance somewhere else. I liked the tensiony part but the ending made the whole movie like–impossible. It was just so–it was very hard to reconcile. I knew it was coming but that was exactly it–it didn’t make a whole lot of sense. It would have been WAY MORE AWESOME if there actually had been a crazy farmer, IMO.
And heh.
Hmmm… either you changed it to look okay on the eee, or that was just a side effect of whatever you did. :D
Remind me not to use that bowl to make bread in when I get home. :P
Take a video of Chretien and Peachy for me! And I suppose you could put some family in there too. ;) I need normalcy. Even though there’s only about 100 days left until we get home!
