CK: WELCOME BACK! I loved loved loved your pictures from the trip and I just have to thank you for the introduction to Gemma Hayes because she is AMAZING. And daughters who are BFFs with their moms represent! We rock!

Emily: HAH! Loved the pun! And I’m glad I’m not alone in this concert rule adherence. Because seriously! That’s the law of averages right there. If they’re going to single anyone with a camera out, it’s ALWAYS going to be you. Maybe one day, we’ll each be at a concert and we’ll have the bravery inside of us to BREAK THE RULES. We should vow it right here and now. Matt Good is really great! I hope you enjoyed what you checked out–he’s a Canadian icon over here. :)

Vero: no seating! That is a crime! I wouldn’t have been able to write it standing up either. I bet your penmanship is fabulous. I wish he’d play While We Were Hunting Rabbits someday. I gotta admit, I was hoping for it but then he posted that list of Master Songs and it wasn’t on so I knew not to get my hopes up. xo

I’m speechless. You are awesome. I wish I’d done this with every concert I’d been to but then again, every single concert of Matt Good I’ve seen was general admission, no seating. It’s very hard to write in those conditions.

Plus, I hate my penmanship. Yours is rather lovely.

I am always rooting for “While we were hunting rabbits” but he never plays it in concert when I go (has he ever? I don’t know) probably because the original is with an orchestra.

I’m glad you liked your experience and you’re making me regret not buying tickets for his Montreal show.
