I am SO out of touch out of my daily element!! Tapped into some neighbors Wifi JUST to get my Courtney fix!!

I have never seen The Piano at all, but now I’m not sure I should…isn’t naked pianoness kind of gratuitous and um…a thinly veiled excuse to show ol’ Harvey’s arse?

BTW, got together this weekend with some much-missed HS friends who I scarred long ago with DEAD ALIVE. YOU MUST sees it!!! Perhaps you know it under it’s other name, BRAINDEAD? (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103873/) Either way, they all agreed you could not be a self-respecting zombie-buff and NOT have seen it. ;)

Also, because I actually adore the movie The Piano as well as the score — and I’m clearly going to have to write you about this now — I can vouch for the existence of the Naked Piano Polishing scene. Which is a lot easier to handle if you’re prepared for it, as I was (thanks, Roger Ebert). Heh.

Dude, I was JUST writing my e-mail draft to you about how that’s my favourite movie score ever because the music means so much to me personally, so this is kind of awesome. Especially because that song is my favourite of them all.
