I was just gonna blur it until she tweeted that brilliance at me. Suzie rocks. Suzie got an early read on Some Girls Are and look at the amazingly humbling things she blogged about it. This is the same book that Kim of What Claudia Wore said, “makes Cracked Up to Be look like My Little Pony,” by the way. Yes, I know I remind people of this regularly but her saying that might’ve made my year, okay.
So. Are you interested in this brutal book, which doesn’t come out officially until January 5th, 2010? Here is what Some Girls Are is about:

I thought about begging, pleading cajoling, crying, sqeeing, threats, pleading the case that I have a 15 yr old with a terminal illness she contracted after being bitten by a zombie, who could die any day now and would only die happy if she read your books first, because then she could live her lost teenagerdom vicariously through your characters, because she herself will never have one, what with the terminal illness and all…..but thats a total lie.
