I’ve just discovered your awesome blog and I think it may be one of the funniest things I’ve ever read! I work in a bookstore in Melbourne Australia (and yes it is a hot country – we even have volcanoes…well they’re ‘techincally’ dormant…but we claim them!) and we’ve been recommending ‘Cracked Up To Be’ to everyone- teenagers and adults alike. The girls at work and I talk endlessly about your book – we all think Parker is one of the funniest/saddest/layered/well written characters we’ve ever read. So to continue with the gushing I just wanted to say that I loved the sample chapter – beyond brilliant – and that I will be begging our rep for an ARC!
